ICC Apex Legends: Ruleset

General

This document contains the rules for the ICC Apex Legends: The context and reasoning for the rules are explained under each heading. 

 

The rules are designed to make this tournament run smoothly, allow for a fun tournament, and give participants equal opportunities. If something occurs that is not reflected in the rules, an organizer will decide on a further course of action. Organizers will always have the final say.

 

The tournament will be run on February 18th at 19:00.

How to join the tournament lobby

When in the game’s menu follow the underneath instructions:

 

Click on Select gamemode → Click on private match → Enter tournament code

We will provide this tournament code on the day of the tournament

 

Format

 

We will be playing 4 rounds of Duo battle royale. Points will be gained as follows:

 

1 point for every kill
points based on your placement:

 

Place         Points

 

The winner will be based on the total points scored after 4 rounds

Tiebreaker

In case of multiple teams having the same score, the team with the most wins will come out on top. If the number of wins is the same, the number of second places will determine the higher place. This continues with third place, fourth place and so on until there is a team that finishes higher. 

Prizes

• 3,750 college coins (worth €75)
• Tournament Series points (Per team)
• #1 – 300 TS-points
• #2 – 250 TS-points
• #3 – 200 TS-points
• #4 – 150 TS-points
• #5 – 100 TS-points

Streaming

The tournament will be streamed on https://www.twitch.tv/intercollege_clash 

For this tournament it is not mandatory to sit in one of our discord voice channels, but we do recommend it to make it more fun! 

Furthermore, you are allowed to stream the tournament by yourself, however you are expected to mention (with the poster/logo or something similar) that this tournament is hosted by the ICC organization and show a link to the main Twitch channel of the ICC. 

Final word 

Cheating will not be tolerated in any ICC tournament and thus neither in this tournament. If you are caught cheating, you will immediately be disqualified from this tournament and possibly further ICC tournaments. We will consider cheating if you have tools to provide yourself with an advantage over the rest of the players or are abusing ingame bugs and/or exploits. 

 

Furthermore, we want to mention that organizers and admins will have the final say in the rules as mentioned before. If there is anything unclear or if you have questions please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Please note that the organizers have the ability to watch back your game, or might ask you for reasoning if they deem that foul play has potentially occurred.
