1.General Rules:

Case by case decisions

The rulebook acts as a general guideline. The admins are free to make case by case decisions.

Act Accordingly

All players are expected to act according to these rules and be nice to all other players. Should evidence of any sort of harassment, toxicity or unpleasant behavior be discovered, players may receive a warning or otherwise may be immediately disqualified. All players are expected to follow the summoner's code. Any non-behaving players may be blacklisted from any future tournaments organized by the participating associations.

Language

The official language of this tournament is English. Please communicate with each other only in English. The game leaders can be contacted in either English or Dutch.

2.Competition Rules:

Registration

A team must have every competing player registered on the the Dutch Student League-webpage webpage of the event to be eligible for this tournament. 

Lobbies:

The games will be played in custom lobbies, settings being: Howling abyss, All Random, Allow Spectators: All. Title of the Lobby must be “TSEA”- followed by the Summoner name of the creator.

Discord

All participants should be in TSEA Link’s Discord server during the tournament, in their respective voice chat. Every team needs at least one member to stream their POV so admins can verify that teams only use the dodging option [see Dodging] once. Whenever you enter the loading screen, you are allowed to end the POV stream.

Server:

The games will be played on the Europe west server. 

Coaches:

There will be no coaches allowed while the team is ingame. If teams choose to have a coach, they will be allowed to be in voice chat until the loading screen starts.

Schedule: 

The Tournament will be played on March 13th, starting at 18:30. Please keep in mind that depending on the amount of players and the duration of the matches, the ending time may be subject to change.

Participants are required to be there within 15 minutes of the scheduled start of the tournament. The matches are expected to start within 5 minutes of everyone (that is online) being in the lobby. If one of the players doesn’t show up for 10 minutes after the original match time, the team with the missing player will be forced to forfeit and their opponent will be granted a win. The tournament will be played online. 

Dodging

Every team is allowed to dodge during champion selection once per game.

Cheating and exploits 

The use of an exploit, or cheats such as scripts, or other software to improve your play to gain an advantage in the tournament is not allowed. Upon discovery of evidence suggesting the use of one, the player and their team using them may be immediately disqualified. 

Lobby Creation 

The player listed left on the the Dutch Student League-webpage match page must invite the other competitor to a new match.

Communication

Any announcements regarding the tournament will be made in the discord server. After each match, the administrators will update the brackets.

After the conclusion of a match, the winner must submit a screenshot of the result screen to one of the organizers

 using the result submission channel in the discord server. This should be a screenshot from the postgame screen including the other player.

Disconnection

If a player loses their internet during the event the player will have to reconnect, the game continues as normal during their absence.

3.Format:

General competition format

The competition will be starting off with round-robin poules. Groups will exist of either 4 or 5 teams, depending on attendance. After that a single elimination bracket will take place. The number of teams advancing will be decided by the organizers depending on attendance.
